By purchasing e-tickets on the website (through his mobile application), the user agrees to all of the terms and conditions set forth below.
These requirements determine the procedure for e-ticketing, boarding and traveling on unnumbered seating trains.
1. THE REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING THE PLACEMENT OF ELECTRONIC TICKET PURCHASE ORDERS FOR UNNUMBERED SEATING TRAINS
1.1 Terms and definitions:
unnumbered seating trains mean city line trains and economy class regional line trains;
e-ticket means a document that confirms the conclusion of a passenger carriage contract, has its own identification number and contains the passenger’s name and surname, the number of his identity document and (or) his mobile phone number, as well as the details of the trip;
controller means an employee from the passenger train control department of the controlling and inspecting service of the Belarusian Railway Administration, an inspector-instructor for the control of passenger trains, a passenger train controller-inspector, a fourth category ticket clerk from the Belarusian Railway branches and other designated persons;
identity document means a passenger’s identity document or military service record book, driver’s license, another document with a sealed photograph, and, for persons under 14 years old, an identity document or birth certificate.
1.2. The website (the mobile application) allows confirming ELECTRONIC TRAVEL DOCUMENT (ticket) - for unnumbered seating trains on the day, on the day of tomorrow and subsequent days (no more than 10 days before the trip).
When an "ALL PICKED DAYS" date option is chosen on the website, it is possible to pay for the selected number of trips on a certain route at a full rate, followed by activation of e-tickets on the today or on the day of tomorrow and subsequent days (no more than 10 days before the trip). An e-ticket should be activated before boarding the train (not earlier than 10 days before the trip).
ATTENTION! A PASSENGER WHO FAILED TO COMPLETE THE ACTIVATION OF HIS ELECTRONIC TICKET BEFORE THE TRAIN LEAVES THE BOARDING STATION SHALL NOT HAVE RIGHT TO TRAVEL ON THE TRAIN.
When issuing (activating) of an electronic ticket on a given route, the passenger chooses the number of the train. It is allowed to travel on a train with a different number on a legitimate EPD (appropriate for the date of the trip, the route and the type of message, mobile phone number or surname and the name listed in the identity document).
A ONE-TIME SINGLE ELECTRONIC TICKET FOR UNNUMBERED SEATING TRAINS SHALL BE USED FOR ONE TRIP DURING A CALENDAR DAY INDICATED THEREIN AND FOR TWO HOURS OF THE FOLLOWING CALENDAR DAY.
The following e-tickets can be confirmed on the website (through the mobile application): full rate tickets, special rate tickets (including free tickets and children’s tickets), extra hand luggage tickets.
The website (the mobile application) allows special rate (free) e-ticketing for the travel of:
children under 7 years old;
citizens who have reached the generally established retirement age and who have been granted a state pension regardless of its type
in accordance with the Decree Concerning the State Support for Pensioners issued by the President of the Republic of Belarus on 27.09.2012 № 428, on 14.12.2016 № 452, on 06.07.2020 № 252) (from 1 May to 30 September);
using privilege tickets and under the transport requirements.
When traveling on a special rate (free) e-ticket basis, the passenger shall present to the controller the original document that confirms the right to these benefits.
The maximum number of e-ticket orders in the cart shall be 20.
Selecting the date option FOR ANY DAY, paid electronic travel documents can be activated within 12 months from the date of ordering.
The website (the mobile application) allows confirming single e-tickets only on direct railway lines. To separate orders shall be placed for the purchase of return e-tickets for unnumbered seating trains, as well as when travelling on routes with transfer stations.
E-tickets for unnumbered seating trains shall be issued on the website (through the mobile application) with indication of one of the following passenger data combinations:
surname and name, number and series of his identity document or military service record book, driver’s license, other document with a sealed photograph, and, for persons under the age of 14, an identity document or birth certificate (hereinafter the identity document);
surname and name, mobile phone number (only subscribers of Belarusian mobile operators (MTS, A1, Life) are entitled thereto).
2. THE PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF ELECTRONIC TICKETS FOR UNNUMBERED SEATING TRAINS
One of the following e-ticketing options shall be selected:
with indication of the surname and name of the passenger, the number of his identity document;
with indication of the surname and name of the passenger, his mobile phone number.
The details of e-tickets and passenger data shall be filled in. Before completing the procedure for paying for orders in the cart, it is necessary to verify the accuracy of the information filled in, while the passenger data should correspond to the information specified during the issuance. When any error is detected in the passenger data or trip details, it is necessary to enter the corrected information before the order is paid.
After payment of e-ticket orders in the cart, it is impossible to correct the trip details and passenger data.
THE PERSON WHO PLACES AN ELECTRONIC TICKET ORDER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CORRECTNESS OF THE TRIP DETAILS AND PASSENGER DATA.
After payment (activation) is made, an e-ticket is generated with a two-dimensional QR code.
When boarding a train, a passenger should have an e-ticket duly confirmed in his name, as well as an passenger's identity document, or have the opportunity to confirm the mobile phone number indicated on the e-ticket.
It is allowed to issue several full rate e-tickets for the joint travel of several passengers using only the data of one passenger.
City line train e-tickets shall entitle to travel on economy class regional line trains along the route indicated on the ticket. In this case, it is not required to pay the fare difference.
3. PAYMENT FOR ELECTRONIC TICKETS
Placed e-ticket orders shall be paid after the orders are verified and confirmed. A passenger shall have 20 minutes to decide on payment of e-ticket orders.
When the set time is exceeded, the e-ticket order shall be canceled.
If, for any reason, the user has not received the e-ticket number or confirmation of the successful generation of the e-ticket, then, before re-issuing the e-ticket, it is necessary to check in the "My Account" section that the order has not been placed.
The placed orders shall be paid in the payment system via one operation.
4. ISSUANCE OF CHILDREN'S TICKETS
The passenger who travel on unnumbered seating trains shall have the right to bring children under 7 years of age with him free of charge with issuing free e-tickets.
For children under 7 years of age, free e-tickets shall be issued simultaneously with the payment for full rate e-tickets.
When checking tickets, passengers are required to present the original documents that confirm the age of the child (the certificate of birth, or a child identity document, or a parent identity document (that of one of the parents) with the children note).
The age of the child shall be determined on the day the trip begins.
5. ELECTRONIC TICKET COLLECTION
E-ticket collection shall be performed by controllers during boarding (drop-off) and/or along the travel route of the unnumbered seating train.
The right to e-ticket-based travel shall be confirmed by presenting the following documents to controllers:
the e-ticket form on the screen of the passenger's mobile device or the paper e-ticket form;
the passenger's identity document or the response of the Belarusian mobile operators (MTS, A1, Life) to the correspondent *147# USSD request with the passenger's mobile phone number.
The passenger shall exercise his right to e-ticket-based travel if his name and/or mobile phone number is indicated on the e-ticket, and, for several e-tickets that are issued using only the data of one passenger, in addition thereto, persons accompanied by the passenger.
For several e-tickets that are issued using only the data of one passenger, all passengers should travel in the same train carriage along with the passenger whose data is indicated on the electronic ticket. During e-ticket collection, the passenger the more than one e-ticket, shall confirm the travel right of persons accompanied by the passenger.
E-tickets shall not be transferable to third parties and shall be legitimate only upon presentation of passenger's identity documents, or the response to the correspondent *147# USSD request with the passenger's mobile phone number.
A citizen shall not have the right to travel on a train (an e-ticket is illegitimate) in the following cases:
the information on the date of the trip, the route, the railway line specified on the e-ticket does not correspond to the date of travel, the type of the railway line (except as the passenger travels on an economy class regional line train under a city line train e-ticket) and the route of the train, on which the passenger is travelling;
the passenger’s mobile phone number indicated in the e-ticket does not match the mobile phone number that is indicated in the response to a *147# USSD request, or the passenger’s name indicated in the e-ticket does not match the name indicated in the passenger's identity document (a discrepancy of more than two characters (letters of a surname/given name) is considered a mismatch; the absence of letter accents and other diacritics of the national alphabet is not considered a mismatch).
If the legitimacy of the e-ticket is confirmed, the controller shall cancel it using a special technical device.
When a passenger travels under an e-ticket issued using his mobile phone number, as well as his name, sending the *147# USSD request and the response thereto shall be performed in the presence of the controller. The passenger shall show to the controller the correspondent response with his mobile phone number on his mobile device.
The passenger who travels on an unnumbered seating train without an e-ticket, or has an illegitimate or unactivated e-ticket, can not present his identity document, the name details of which are used to purchase the ticket, or if he can not confirm his mobile phone number, shall be deemed a passenger without ticket and is obliged to pay the fare for the distance from the boarding station (flag station) to his destination station (flag station), the cost of the service for issuing the ticket on the train and the fine as the law prescribes.
6. RETURN OF UNUSED ELECTRONIC TICKETS FOR UNNUMBERED SEATING TRAINS
Refunds for unused e-tickets for unnumbered seating trains shall not be made.
Refunds for travel on unnumbered seating trains under e-tickets subject to activation shall not be made.
7. STORAGE OF ORDERS IN PERSONAL ACCOUNT
The paid, used and returned orders are stored in the personal account within 12 months of the trip. Further, orders are moved to an archive that is not available to users.
