In accordance with Clause 9 of the Rules for Carriage of Passengers, Luggage and Cargo Luggage by Public Railway, approved by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 17.07.2015 No. 609, the issuance of travel documents (tickets) for travel in trains with numbered seats in international traffic are made upon presentation details on the surname, name, date of birth of a passenger, as well as details on the ID document, military ticket, driver’s license, other document containing a photo certified by the seal, and for persons under the age of 14 ID document or birth certificate.
The list of identity documents approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated 03.06.2008 № 294. In accordance with this Decree, the identity documents are:
- passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus;
- residence permit;
- refugee sertificate;
- ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus;
- permanent residence in the Republic of Belarus;
- permanent residence in the Republic of Belarus for person without citizenship.
