In accordance with Clauses 9, 17, 27, 28 of the Rules for Carriage of Passengers, Luggage and Cargo-Luggage by Public Railway approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 07/17/2015 No. 609:
To travel by train with unnumbered seats, a passenger shall issue a travel document (ticket) for a one-time trip in one direction or in the "round trip" direction, a commutation ticket or a smart card.
Travel documents (tickets) are issued at a ticket office, through a self-service terminal, through information and functional resource on the Internet or in other ways established by the carrier ensuring interaction with a special computer system and allowing payment of the total travel cost. In cases stipulated by the Rules, travel documents (tickets) can be issued on a train.
The issuance of travel documents (tickets) for trains with unnumbered seats starts, as a rule, 10 days before the travel date.
If there is no ticket office or self-service terminal at the station or stopping point, a citizen can board a train with unnumbered seats without a travel document (ticket), having paid for the fare and hand luggage to the authorized person until the next train stop after boarding.
ATTENTION:
In areas where ticket offices are organized at all stations (stopping points), trains are not accompanied by ticket cashiers.
These areas include:
- areas adjacent to the city of Minsk: Minsk — Borisov, Minsk — Molodechno, Minsk — Osipovichi, Minsk — Negoreloye.
As an additional service, a ticket cashier on a train can issue a travel document (ticket) with a charge for the passenger, who has boarded at the station (stopping point), where the ticket office is organized.
