In accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 08/02/1999 No. 1196 (as amended on 07/10/2015) “On Approval of the Charter of Public Railway”:
101. Lost (stolen) travel documents (tickets) are not renewed and refunded.
Damaged, torn, burnt, got damp travel documents (tickets) issued on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, with the exception of travel documents (tickets) on city and regional economy class trains, shall be restored by the carrier that issued them, if there is sufficient information on them.
Damaged, torn, burnt, got damp travel documents (tickets) on city and regional economy class trains are not renewed and refunded.
In accordance with Article 5 Par. 1"Travel Documents" of Annex No. 1 to the Agreement between The Railway Administrations of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Estonia on The Peculiarities of Applying Certain Provisions of the International Passenger Service Agreement (IPSA) - PA IPSA:
If it is technically possible, if a travel document was issued with indication of the personal data of a passenger, and under the national legislation, the carrier of the travel state of the passenger can issue a travel document (a duplicate) of the lost (stolen) one on the form in the established form.
Information on travel documents purchased by citizens (individuals) is provided on a paid basis by Main Settlement Information Center RUE of the Belarusian Railway.
To obtain the necessary information, a passenger shall file in-person an application addressed to the head of the Main Settlement Information Center RUE of the Belarusian Railway, indicating the series and number of the passport or other ID document under which the travel document was purchased, departure date and route.
According to the “Procedure for the provision of services for the issuance of information on the purchase of travel documents to passengers”, a passenger shall pay for this service through a bank branch, a post office or via the Internet (United Payment and Information Space). Upon payment for the service (the payment amount should be clarified by phone) and provision of a receipt for payment for the service at the address: 220007, Minsk, 5 Stekolny per., Main Settlement Information Center RUE of the Belarusian Railway, either by fax or e-mail, the application is accepted for processing.
